Prime Ministerial Endorsement
NquiringMinds was selected for Prime Minister Theresa May’s first bilateral trade mission outside Europe — the Connected Cities Mission to India (6–12 November 2016) — and was named among the UK SMEs she chose to showcase as the best of British business.

Prime Minister Theresa May said:
I want to show off the best of British business on the trade trip to India — and Nquiringminds certainly fits that category.
Harnessing the power of technology and the internet is vital for the future of British prosperity.
And I am delighted I will be able to help Nquiringminds seek new opportunities for its business in one of the world’s fastest growing markets.

A cutting-edge Southampton firm, based at the University of Southampton Science Park, travelled to India as part of Theresa May’s first trade trip. NquiringMinds is a pioneer in AI-powered analytics and Internet of Things technology, applying that expertise to smart cities — harnessing technology to make urban life easier and more efficient.
The firm joined a delegation fronted by the Prime Minister to show off the best of British SMEs to Indian investors, customers and partners. The visit included South Asia’s largest tech fair: the India–UK TECH Summit in New Delhi, hosted by the UK and Indian Prime Ministers, plus Connected Cities pitches and meetings in Pune and Kochi.
Dr Nick Allott, CEO of nquiringminds, said:
We are honoured to be selected for the India trade delegation. We believe the technologies we have been deploying with UK cities could help transform India’s urbanisation program.
On the Connected Cities Mission he added:
NquiringMinds is excited to be exploring Smart Cities collaboration opportunities with India. Our AI powered analytics and secure Internet of Things technology can help power India’s visionary Smart City programme, replicating the success we have already established in the UK.
