The Accelerated Capability Environment (ACE) is a Home Office capability within the Homeland Security Group that solves public safety and security challenges arising from rapidly changing digital and data technologies. Established in 2017, it brings together a curated community of 260+ organisations and experts from industry and academia, selecting and combining the capabilities best suited to each problem and delivering practical solutions in weeks or months rather than years. ACE gives SMEs a simpler way to work with government customers and has delivered in fields including online child sexual abuse and exploitation, counter-terrorism, insider threat to CNI, cybercrime and border security.
